They look like standard corbeau's .. spendy puppys (if you get the reclining ones).. but nice!!
Ive been wanting to get some myself. Just need the seats and the cherokee mounting adapters and they bolt right in.

If it feels right, then STROKE it!
You're lucky that hundred shot of CAPS LOCK didn't blow the welds on the forum!!

Re: Show your stuff...
Thanks, We have had two jeeps of the same color and year, this 2dr and a limited 4 door. Should of kept them together as a set. I like the color as well. Keeps clean looking for a long time.gradon wrote:Sweet XJ and nice Mickeys! I had a gray metallic(favorite xj color) 94 2dr 2wd that I rolled at 75mph
Where'd you get the seats(they fold forward, right)?
Thanks. Cobeau's no. Expensive no. Affordable yes. Reclining yes. Fold forward yes.Muad'Dib wrote:They look like standard corbeau's .. spendy puppys (if you get the reclining ones).. but nice!!

The seats are actually Scat Seats. Plucked them off Summit I think for 130-140 or something. Got a summit gift cert for Christmas from my girlfriend right when my driver’s seat pooped out. Basically got two for the price of one.
They didn’t list any adapters for the XJ when I purchased them. I just merged my stock pedestals to their supplied brackets and only one half of their sliders and boom. Pretty simple but did require welding and such. In turn I retain all of the features of my stock pedestals and they bolt right in. They were better than my shot stock ones and will hold me over until I can afford some nicer seats.
Thanks, Its a Rusty's first gen long arm. And there the crappiest pairs of 33x12.50 on 15x8's you'll ever find.jsawduste wrote:Dang, that is one of the nicest XJ`s I`ve seen.

Here's two Jeeps I bought in the past two weeks:
94 Country 2wd aw4 w/255K for $500. Has electrical issues with windows and locks but runs great. Will be selling it in the near future if anyone's interested:
88 Comanche Eliminator 2wd ba-10 w/ 205K for $600. Needs a tune-up, shocks, and alignment:

Re: Show your stuff...
Hey guys, been awhile since I posted anything and am not a member of any other forum so I figured I would share my new ride with you.
My 88' with the 4.6 stroker is running good, but I forced myself to park for now due to my first child on the way. Picked the wife up a Tahoe, and was shopping for an economic ride for me and was having a hard time giving up the familiar jeep I have been driving for almost nine years and settling on any sedan... so I got another Jeep . I now have a fleet of 5. Three of which are mine ('89 4dr XJ, the wife's previous ride, the '88 2dr XJ, the stroked one, and now a '98 4dr XJ), my mother owns a '00 WJ 4.0 and my brother has a '01 WJ 4.7. Its sickening.
Specs are as follows:
'98 Cherokee Sport
4.0/AW4/D35/Chry 8.25 w/disk brake conversion
Rubi 3-4" lift w/ adj upper control arms - fixed lowers
Rubi 16" wheels
Toyo 275/70 R16 "Somthin country's" (Nice ride and only have roughly 5k on them)
MagnaFlow Cat back
Some sort of aftermarket header (unsure what brand)
Powder coated bumpers, freshly painted faded trim, tinted windows, ect...
Clifford remote start alarm
Cascade audio VB3 sound deadening under all the carpet
Dynomat Xtreme on all vertical panels and roof
Orca tiles on all four doors
Cruise control steering wheel converted to radio controls
Pioneer AVIC-Z110bt head w/ nav, bluetooth, iPod, and HD radio
Boyo back up camera
Audison LRx 5.1 Amplifier
Audison BIT ONE Processor
4 x Hertz MLK165 Component Speakers
1 x Hertz ML2500 10" Sub
I miss thumping around in the big jeep and making people mad when they cant hear the person they are talking to when i am next to them, and then take them at the light, but it sure is nice to have a reliable, quite inside and out Jeep that has airbags and a cold A/C system.
