Re: Show your stuff...
I'll take a stab at it (being new and all)
I bought this 87 YJ from my cousin. It started off as 4.2 weber carb with TF999 tranny.
Then came the Renix 4.0. And just last month i swapped out the tranny for an AX15 (the pedal assembly was a B*TCH!)
I'm currently working on a 4.7 stroker for her, which is what brings me here.
This is what she looked like when i first picked her up (compairing her new shoes)
Having fun in the trails (until the cops cracked down.....)
Mud anybody??
Damn tree guys thought they'd take my parking spot!!
My stock springs and "add-a-leafs" started bowing backwards, so this is after adding 3.5 springs front and rear. I've also got 1" on the shackles making a total of 4.5"
And this is how it sits now with her steel rims, and 33" TSL radial (next will probably be 33" TSL BIAS!!)

Here's my '97 TJ on the beach at Coos Bay next to the ship wrecks of the "George L. Olson" and the "New Carissa", We had to go see them before they got removed and covered back up!, it was a GREAT day!, here's link to some of their history.

Re: Show your stuff...
awww man, sooooo many nice jeeps!!! well, i bought my 92 XJ for a DD (320,000 KMS) and ended up taking it out a time or two, but when projects began to pile up, i was at the end of my money with still some month left so unfortunately the jeep went for a cheaper DD (shoulda just grin and bear, i hate that i sold it). but here it is after i half sunk it on the trail. sorry, no stuck pics here, but it was pretty stuck. 2 inches of water inside, water came up over the grey bottom trim

New guy from MI
Finally joined, been lurking for a bit now. I will update this thread with more pictures of my ZJ later but wanted to take the time to introduce myself. I'm a senior Mechanical Engineering Student at Michigan Tech right now just looking for more information on building a stroker "right"
Now that I've got some time I'll give a little more background on what I'm working on.
My 1998 GC bone stock, 4.0, AT, 242 T-Case (mine's on the right)
2" BB & 31" Trxus MTs
4.5" Lift and 31's
Current setup, 4.5" lift, 33" KM2s
Current issues with the 4.0
