Welcome to the Forum, I have litterly lost sleep thinking about a M90 on a 4.6, so we,ll have to kick that around some. And yeah, those wild fun projects do find a way to eat up time and cubic dollars.

Unsure about the brackets, I'll have to wait until they show up.

Welcome Streetpirate! What have you been up to? Haven't seen you post in a long while. When are you gonna ditch those park service mirrors and get regular ones?

hell no! I love being able to tuck in the mirrors and how large they are. Im building the jeep for myself, however I want it. Im toying with the idea of using a 2nd gen F body front clip instead of the drop axle. Its gonna be 2wd, and I plan on it being my daily driver, so its got to ride nice and still corner on par with a stock sports car. I'll be keeping the 15x10's horrible scrub radius and all, and get the cg as low as possible for a dd

Interested in the F body clip. Have you seen it done before or you figure itll work somehow? Did you happen to see the M90 mounting bracket kit for sale on ebay?

havent seen an ifs swap yet in an xj, just custom drop axles. since im not building a drag jeep, I don't want to sacrifice good suspension geometry to lower the cg. (if it was going to be a drag jeep I would totally go full gasser style)

I think that if I do the front frame swap at the same time as the cage/frame ties, I should be able to replace the front unibody frame without loosing anything structurally. The inner fenders are going to have to go away or be heavily modified, but thats ok.

depending on what moneys like when I get around to the engine, I might ditch the m90 in favor of a used procharger or the like. Then again, I might not.
The noodling in desktop dyno that Ive done leads me to believe that with the m90 I can make close to 400 ft/lbs from 2k to 6k, which is my goal for the engine build. I really dont want to puss out and put a sbc in it, even if its cheaper for the power im looking for.
