I am looking for a machine shop in the Chicago area to have the bottom end of my 4.0L rebuilt at. I live about 45 minutes Southwest of Chicago (in the sw 'burbs, near Jolilet) and am looking for some place local where I can load the motor up in my truck, drop it off, and then pick it up when done. Anyone have any experience with shops in the area? I know of plenty that specialize in SBC's and Ford motors, but I would prefer a shop that has experience working on the 4.0L so that I know they're competent with working on that motor.
Thanks
