help new 4.6 install runing bad

just finished my 4.6 today got it running but at first it would idle fine for about 30 secs then dies like u cut the key off it would run if u keep ur foot on the gas but is cutting out and running bad after running it for a bit it idles smooth but still running bad any higher than idle

Specs on vehicle and stroker? Did you index the distributor/cam sensor correctly? What cam? Did you degree it in? What else did you changed? Have you checked any of your sensors? Did you change your injectors?

I know this is an OLD post, but thought I'd bump it as I had the exact same issue. Properly indexed the rotor looks way advanced at TDC #1. I pulled out a bit of hair on that one.
