I have a Stroker with the build below. I am looking at replacing the cam with something a bit less "lumpy". I am looking for some opinions about after-market ECU upgrades.

Let me know.

68mm TB
.060 over
Custom offset ground 258 crank
Clifford 290 dur. cam and solid lifters
10:1 comp
Arias pistons
Eagle Chevy 327 rods
Custom head work
CRT HEI distributor and 8mm wires
Champion Gold Plugs
Clifford timing set
Balanced to 7000 rpm
All ARP hardware
Clifford Roller Rockers

What year electronics/pcm is being used? There are a couple options, some only for obd2,: You can have the pcm reflashed by Kolak, you can use a Unichip tuned through Hesco, you can get an Accel DFI tunable setup, you can use a piggy back such as Apexi or Split Second(fancy map adjusters), or you can make your own adjustable map calibrator.

If OBDII there is also the option of SCT tuner, which I have heard works well on the 4.xL

It is a 1995 with ODB I. I was considering the Performance Engine Monitor from Painless Performance, but it is a bit pricey. It comes with custom cam, lifters, springs, and programmable ECU. There are a lot of other changes that has to be made to make it work, such as changing all the sensors and distributor to GM. Looks like a good unit, but I am looking for some other options to see what people on here have done.
