No Voltage from Coil to Distributor

Not getting any voltage out of my coil into the center post on the distributor on my 94YJ with 4.9L stroker. I had the computer checked and it is ok. I get the 12V to the input side of the coil but not getting the high voltage output. There is a third wire that connects to the coil pack. Does this control when the voltage goes out of the coil pack? Shouldn't voltage be sent to the distributor whenever the key is "ON". I have a new CPS installed, could this be the problem? Any and all suggestions welcome.
