Traction bars?

Anyone running a traction bar besides dino? I'm debating on coming up with a setup for mine. I'm planning on putting an adjustable end on one point of the axle mount for adjust-ability if I change lift height and a shackle on the frame side with some form of pivoting joint or two so it won't limit flex. While I won't be doing any hard offroading in this Jeep again there will be the occasional lite offroad excursion with it and i don't want the bar to bind. So, anyone have anything to show or advice?

I've been considering the same thing and am also curious what other people have done. Although this would limit any suspension squat, this sort of design is what I was considering to eliminate any axle wrap.

I have seen similar products on Summit and Jegs that would be a good start. I have always thought about designing one that sat on top of the drive shaft and traveled roughly the same length. Then attach the axle end link to a hoop over the pumpkin while the lower portions mount to the axle tubes on each side, creating a three point cage thing around the pumpkin. I would still opt to use a joint on the top cross member like the one I linked. Don't know if that makes sense.

The one from sams is pretty much what I was thinking about. On your idea maybe you could figure a way to mount it under the drive shaft, put some plate on it and use it as a drive shaft skid as well.
