My Stroker Died.... Need Advice on Salvage

So my 4.7 stroker went tick tick tick tick tick tick on the highway and before I could shut her down (maybe half a second), she blew up and put a hole in the block. The bottom end of the connecting rod split (I will post pics within the next week), I found that under my transfer case skid plate. The crank would probably need a regrind, and as it appears, I am missing a piston.... :( Thus I am moving on and going stock again. The head is a brand new alabama cylinder head unit, with a performance valve job, performance springs and valves from Hesco. So i have about 600-800 dollars in the head. I have the original long block block and am going to swap over all of the new parts, water pump, mani, exhaust, throttle body, etc. I want to reuse the head. My only issue with that is that the combustion chambers were measured at 62.5cc (tuliped valves, and minor bowl work), thus reusing the head with the stock cam is going to put my DCR in the mid to high sixes, and since stock is somewhere 7.3 I am going to see a large loss of power and efficiency. What cam would you recommend I use to get that DCR up? Or should I just try and sell the head.... Let me know guys

Looks like I am going to keep the unmodified head on the engine, going with the 68-115-4 cam that should get my DCR above 8, if I used that cam with my performance head I would only be at 7.26 for DCR. I am going to miss the 4.7 she was a mid to high end torque monster. Maybe some day.....

What rods were you using?
