Re: Trucks! Cheep Cherokee Episodes.
I got in touch with Ryan .. I wanted to get give them some "props" and get "the word out" about our site a little more .. so i figured it would be worth a shot to send both Ryan and Kevin a message.
Here is what Ryan had to say:
As exciting as that sounds i do understand that the chances of that happening are pretty low, but its always good to hope! Wish us luck! we could use the additional exposure!!
Here is what Ryan had to say:
The chances are slim, but it appears that we possibly could have one of our Stickers slapped on the Jeep. Netting us some exposure and maybe even a brief mention on the show!Ryan Shand wrote:Chris,
You were right - I don't check my PM's here often enough! I have been out of town (Moab and AZ wheelin!) and really busy at work. Enough excuses though.
Thanks for the compliments on the show. I am aware of your website, unfortunately I have yet to visit. I hang out on Mallcrawlin a fair amount and got a good bit of my stroker info there. A few of the guys over there have mentioned your site but I wrongly made the assumption that it is geared toward the more extreme/$$$$$ stroker builds. The angle we took was very budget. I guess I should not have ASSumed - shame on me. Anyway, I'll venture over to the site in the next day or two. I could of used you when picking out pistons and a cam!
The decision to add the stickers is ultimately up to my Producer. I'll let you know, but usually I can work 'em in.
We have assembled the engine and dropped it back in but have yet to finish the install or start it up due to the need to move onto another project. I can't wait to get it runnin' and back on the dyno and out on the road/trail.
Thanks again and I'll pass on the kind words to Kevin.

Re: Trucks! Cheep Cherokee Episodes.
I doubt that he'll be happy when he sees that the episodes are available for download here. More of the producers that will be pissed, they're losing out on valuable ad revenue. After watching all five in one sitting I was really stoked to see the next episode, but I was disappointed to learn that it's not even done yet.

Since having the videos available for free (aka not for profit) there is nothing wrong with having them available. Now weather or not the producers persue the issue is another story intirely.
Redistribution for profit is where the trouble lies.
If they were to ask me to take it down, i would... but not before moving it to an offshore website.

Re: Trucks! Cheep Cherokee Episodes.
Saturday and Sunday (unless we are preempted) will be the second show featuring our stroker 4.0L. Check it out if you have the time.
Right now I'm looking at some JeepStrokers.com stickers on my desk and wondering what color will look best on the XJ. I'm thinking blue.
