im needing some in site, im look at build a supercharged 4L by im need help finding parts. im trying to just change the crank out to a less stroke to drop the compression, and a mild cam for so it can breath better. im planning on porting my head as well but im not shear how much, and was thinking for build a custom header as well to open it to eather a 2.75 or 3'' with a magna flow cat and the sheath sires muffler

Reducing stroke is not the best way to achieve a lower compression. By trying to do this piston to haed clearance will be increased and therefore increasing the probability of detonation. Detonation on Turbo/Supercharged motors is what you will combat the most due to the higher temperature of the intake charge. I'm not the best source of info on forced induction stuff but with that said if you plan on running lower boost levels stock components could work if a few things are addressed. .PAGING----------TURBO TOM--------push away from the beer cooler, help this feller out!

Dude... you are thinking way in the wrong direction....
to run a supercharger you need to have the engine tuned in... running a nice tight quench and a compression ratio of about 9:1. by adding a spacer you are openning yourself to a world of hurt. the Predetonation is going to Kill you.
you can put a root style blower on your 4.0L stock. make some changes to the injectors and a better fuel managment system and your golden. Do some searching before you commit.
and BTW... you will never get better gas milage on a Jeep by putting a blower on it. its a myth... FYI
good luck with your build. post up pictures etc when you get started.
