First of all i'd like to say gday to all you yanks out there..

i started my stroker build 4 months ago going with a 4.6L kit from 505 performance..
first thoughts on all the parts are they are top notch and havent run into any trouble yet.. but the information delivered could have been a little more detail.

Products Purchased:
258 Crank 4 counterweight with long nose
Eagle Rods
KB 9.5 Pistons 30"over
Stage 1 Hydraulic Cam
Single Row Timing Chain and Gears
24lbs/hr Injectors
Aftermarket Pushrods & Lifters
Blue Printed Oil Pump

the problems ive run into are as follows:

got caught by customs and had to pay another $1000.00 import duty's & tax
damaged pistons apon arrival (postage)
aussie jeeps input shaft are a different size to america so had to machine the solid bush in the back of the crank so the motor would fit it but ended up machining the spigott bearing..
pumped up and seized two sets of lifters and would only run on 5 cylinders no matter the crush.
injectors are stock 15ohm, new ones came 30ohm (shouldnt be a problem)
valve springs were too weak, going dual setup instead of beehive with ls1 outers and rb30 inners.. (should hopefully fix low compression missfire)
had to space the crank gurdle out and then it hit the sump so had to modify the sump
camshaft was earlier model so doesnt use a retainer plate but a button and spring
crank nose was longer but 505 supplied a spacer for it


that seems to be all i can think of so far

im interested to know what HP i will get from these mods?

here in australia we have spefic rules for age groups (fark australia sucks)
at my age (18) i cannot have any performance upgrades at all! but we wont worry about that
Suspension lift is NOT legal once it is over 2inches higher than stock, NO LA kits, NO coilovers and NO fun stuff.

so atm on my jeep its pretty standard to some of the gear i see getting around on your us based sites
