i was just reading gradons stroker thread and saw the picture he posted showing the belt routing in his jeep, now that he removed the belt driven fan. being that i dont plan on running an air conditioning compressor on my engine, and i dont have room to mount the alternator down low, (that i know of yet, just using the calibrated eyeball) i started to think. maybe people could post their non-stock belt routing here and we can see a few different ideas, and maybe get some ideas for a custom accessory set mounting? like for example dual alternators or on board air

So far the belt has held up. The alternator has less than a 1/4 wrap on it but it works. With the 96+ tensioning setup, 99+ intake, and minus the mech fan pulley, the belt needed was 2045mm in length. Grinding the alt bracket and the right side of the 0* timing mark tab was necessary for the belt clearance. If DC wasn't such a swamp and a concrete&asphalt jungle, I'd ditch the A/C, move the alt up and use an even shorter belt.
