Head gasket "ratings"?

Does anyone know if head gaskets are "rated" for certain compression or boost psi? I recall seeing somewhere (a while ago) a gasket that said "up to 12:1 comp.
I know some of you guys run high comp. and others are boosted, and I think I read somewhere on here someone o-ringed their head. All the hg threads i've seen talk about thickness or bore size but nothing about this.On a thread talking about Garth Hill's dragster it said -he grooved .005" around the bores-I guess so the gasket fire ring had a little bite and wouldn't just push out. :?: Also, how about nitrous? any certain hg to use for that? And i'm not talk'n bout a tiny 50hp shot ...I mean 150 maybe more :hrhr: I'm running a vr 54249 mls now...and love it(it's the only hg i've had on a jeep that didn't / hasn't "seeped" oil out the pass side)but how much can it handle?

I know there are a lot of you that run the heck out of these,so I'm lookin for your expertise :worship:

The same design MLS gasket on other applications have shown that it can take STUPID amounts of power.

That magnum is running STOCK head gaskets... 392 stroker with 18 psi of boost.

I've never heard of a "blown" MLS gasket.

Cool, I didn't know it would be that easy. I'm going to get aggressive with my next build and just wanted to be sure. :wiggle:
