SO my question to the great stroker gurus is this...

Moly or Cast rings? And what exactly is your HO on the subject? Which performs better on average for the everyday stroker?

If you have an extra $100, you owe it to your engine to use file-to-fit Moly rings. Daily driver or race engine, same principles apply.

Use Hastings rings specced for a 283 V8 (same sizing), they are reasonable priced and available.

The Hastings ones are a "true" Moly ring. They are quite strong and break-in very quickly.

x2 on the hasting moly rings.

Make sure you get the correct rings for the pistons you have. Either metric or inch.
