Project Spreadsheet

I came up with the idea of having a project spreadsheet. This will help the Newbe or the more experienced of us get a little more organized.
I have attached a copy of my first draft. Tell me what you think, I am open to suggestions.

It might also be interesting to see it filled out with some of the current or past builds. it would be a lot more detailed than the recipes in the FAQ section.

Below is a picture of what it looks like, the actual spreadsheet is at the bottom of the post.

( edit) i HAVE REVISED THE SHEET TO INCLUDE MANUFACTURER INFORMATION AND CALCULATE TOTAL PRICE BASED OFF QTY REQUIRED.
Some people may want to add date order placed and an order number colum. I have also filled in some example information. The part numbers and prices are real.

I have started to fill it out. Mostly projected costs. Since I am still acquiring everything.

I have one spreadsheet for my stroker and one for my 67 CJ build.
They're nice and could be good references for later on if needed. Though spreadsheets can get depressing if you tally up the costs of everything and then see the final product! Jeeps are worth it though.

I aggree they canbe a good reference. I was going nuts the other day looking for the part number for the Manifold bolt and stud kit and the Damper bolt kit. Finally found the Mopar numbers and put them on the sheet.

Been working on planning a new stroker, I planned to use the KB944 pistons and the Ovate wire Crower springs. I started to add things up, WOW. The spreadsheet includes the intake and exhaust manifolds as well as the general engine stuff. If i go with a Banks Header, F&B throttle body and a 99+ intake, it adds about $1,000.00 to the project. The Valve springs and retainers are another big cost at about $300.00. I have a head i used LS1 takeout Valves and springs on. I got the valves, springs and retainers for $100.00 off Ebay. Factory LS1 is good to 6,500 rpm, but i think the lifters are probably lighter. More machining is required to put the chevy valves in, so the parts are cheaper, but the machine cost more.

Here is what I have been working with.

I noticed on your build sheet that you had a throttle body priced out. I too am looking at purchasing one. Have you looked at http://www.strokedjeep.com/tbody.html. Pricing seems to be much better. Just a thought.
