So I was motivated enough to pull all comp cam magnums out and replace with trent ones. I know they are still a tad short, but at least my adjustment screw on the rocker is not buttomed out.
Secondly anyone can remind me of the TQ specs for the rockers?
I am doing MY way; after TQing the rockers to pedestal, turn the engine until pushrod doesn't have any compression on it, adjust so I can't spin the pushrod, after it is not spinning just give half a turn and snug the locking nut while holding the adjuster preventing unwanted turning.

As far as geometry; that's where I find as many opinions as people. 90 degrees at mild lift vs 90 and full lift, slightly less than 90 for max reliability at full lift, slightly more than 90 at the full lift for max HP.... well I think I am about 90 at the full lift.

Will see what I can screw up more....

Chris, you have bad luck, there is no doubt. on another hand I am dealing with pure incompetence of the machine shop. Luck can change, "the 25 years in the business" idiot would still be an idiot.
