air intake temp sensors

hey guys thought that i would let you know what kind of mileage i have been getting as of late. 14s for a while and last saturday i moved the intake temp sensor to the afe stage 2 intake tube.
HOLY CRAP..... IM PULLING DOWN 16.238 MPG AT 75 MPH. with 200 + pounds of crap in her.
never realized that the puter pulled that much timming.
is this somthing that i can still do when i have the bottom end done? 4.6L
