relocating IAT sensor help much?

i have a 4.6L stroker and i was thinking of relocating the IAT sensor just wondering if it helps much.
Depends on what you need help with...
Relocating the IAT sensor to somewhere colder will possibly advance the timing 1-2 degrees... iirc.
