crankshaft question

if my crankshaft and rods have 98 k on them should i have them balanced ?

Typically, better-than-production balancing is needed if:
1) The engine was running poorly, and weight-matching shows that it is necessary.
2) The engine is going to be built for sustained high-speed operation (typically 6,000rpm or better)

You can have the crank spun to make sure it's properly balanced, and you can have the pistons/pins/rods weight-matched (which they should be anyhow - within a gramme or so,) but you should not need to go any farther than that.
