I've seem this on Naxja before, but to my knowledge no one has tried it yet.

The AW4 is the same tranny used in supras, celicas etc.. i have too heard of this, and i was thinking i might give it a shot when i swap in the stroker (do stroker and aw4 at the same time....)
If it feels right, then STROKE it!
You're lucky that hundred shot of CAPS LOCK didn't blow the welds on the forum!!

After doing alot more reading, those of you who like to rock crawl may not find this mod very benefecial. But those who street/strip way more then off road may like this mod alot.

i cant beleive nobody has tried this yet. seems so simple its silly.
anyone tried the TV cable mod or atleast snugged it up some?

AW4 in the 10's from another forum. We all knew this was a strong tranny but damn...
1JZ.747 runs 10.70 et on street tyres Mon, 23 May 2005 09:10

yesterday at drag combat the cressida ran 10.70 at 125 mph.
it ran a 1.5 sixty foot on BF GOODRICH steel belted drag radials.
the car wieghed in at 3460 pound, so its a heavy bitch that makes it Australia's fastest 1jzgte. (with no slicks)
