I can't find any sort of option to receive email notices from this forum that will notify me of PMs and when folks respond to posts I'm in. What am I missing?

To get notifications of PM's, you need to go into your user control panel (link is at the upper left below "Homepage") and then click on the "Board Preferences" tab. You should see a radio option that says "Notify me on new private messages: " .. make sure that "yes" is selected.

If you want to get an email when a thread is replied too, thats even easier. When viewing the thread (this one for example), on the lower left below "Who is online" there is an option to "Subscribe topic". Once you subscribe to the topic, you will be notified via email everytime a reply is made.
