Advancing the timing on a OBD 1 engine

Post by jsawduste »

Has anyone tried advancing initial timing by moving the crank sensor ?

While I have to admit to not looking to closely. Could the mounting holes for the sensor be elongated a bit. Thus moving the sensor counterclockwise. Might be worth a few degrees or so.
