Can you run factory retainers and locks with the Mopar Performance P5249464 springs? I have a set from 94 & 00.

No you need P4452032 retainers to go with them. use the mopar locks as well, but make sure get the right ones for your valves. If its for the 2000 Then I think they are Three grooves not one groove like the older ones.

I'm looking for the proper 3 groove locks to go with the mopar performance springs and retainers...
P5249464 - Spring
P4452032 - Retainer
Anyone have a part number for that?
I really want to keep the stock valves, if I can...

So on the 99+ they went to a 3-groove lock? I never heard anyone having issues with the single groove--wonder why they did it? Also(since I'm unfamiliar w/ the 0331 setup), are the valves still 1.92"in and 1.56"ex, with the exs being stainless?

IIRC it was because all the dodges used that part and consolidation of part numbers would save them a few hundredths of a cent per piece.
