Will those mopar springs go directly into the head without machining spring seats??

I wouldn't try to fix low pressure springs with shims. Well, we all see how Titan takes care of thier customers. We also see the quality of thier product.

Yes, the mopar springs will fit the head w/o machining, but you need the retainers and locks as well. You may need to massage the valve cover with a BFH though.

Yes, and for God's sake please don't add shims to increase the spring pressure. It'll be fine without them.

this scares the xxxx out of me as I ordered my 4.7 stroker kit from chuck last month. It included a built head with oversized valves. I'm about to install it tomorrow, how can I check springs? Don't want to do this job 2x

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but Titan has a very bad reputation in the stroker world. I hope it works out for you. Good luck!
The only way I know to check spring pressure is to remove the springs.

Guys I have reason to believe that my issue is not valve float.
I hooked up a vac gauge to the manifold and at the 3750 wall it held a constant 5 inhg of vac... Supposedly if you are floating the valves or have weak springs there should be wide fluctuations in vac...
I hooked up an inline spark tester, had spark when i hit the wall...
It runs rich at the wall..
I have replaced every sensor except for the CAM sensor
What is everyones thoughts.. I need help

Have you checked fuel pressure at the wall? Just because it is rich doesn't mean you have adequate fuel pressure. How rich is rich?

Finally broke mine in enough to climb on it, pulled hard in 2nd to 5k at 1/2 throttle, manual 2nd hold on 99WJ, clicked into 3rd and kept foot in same spot let climb back to 5k pulled nicely up over triple digits, so leaned on it harder and pulled right to 6000 where i clicked the OD button and let off the gas and coasted back down. Was impressed with the top end pull. Do you have cats installed in this setup? Certain no exhaust restriction that just causes so much backpressure the motor cant breathe?
