Even the dip to 17? That was how it was upon startup. It never held any closer to 14.7 than that right there. Seemed to be very erratic. i was under the impression that this would be much more steady.SilverXJ wrote:I don't see anything wrong there.

Me neither. The AFR hovers around 14.7 at idle, goes rich around 13.0 when you apply the throttle, and goes lean around 17.0 when you lift off so the engine seems to be behaving as it should.SilverXJ wrote:I don't see anything wrong there.

Haha. Well I took the jeep for a drive today. It was good to actually legitimately drive it since its been in rebuild stage for over a year now. Still a long road but its gettin closer. Not sure of my first impressions of the power. I imagine the more the rings seat the better it'll be over the next few hundred milesCheromaniac wrote:Me an expert? You've got to kidding.
