I don't see anything wrong there.

Even the dip to 17? That was how it was upon startup. It never held any closer to 14.7 than that right there. Seemed to be very erratic. i was under the impression that this would be much more steady.

When you let off the gas? Its called decel mode, the PCM is cutting fuel.

Does the air fuel gauge on yours move like that after initial start up?

On a cold start, right after the engine fires mine is rich, around 12-13. Once the O2 sensor heats up and comes on line (under a minute) it does similar to what you see. When you hit the gas, especially with no load it will go rich for a bit then depending on the loop its in it will go back to around 14.7. You let off the gas and it will go lean at fuel cut.

Me neither. The AFR hovers around 14.7 at idle, goes rich around 13.0 when you apply the throttle, and goes lean around 17.0 when you lift off so the engine seems to be behaving as it should.

Me an expert? You've got to kidding. Like you I also work with gases but unlike you, my job is just to pass them. ;)

Haha. Well I took the jeep for a drive today. It was good to actually legitimately drive it since its been in rebuild stage for over a year now. Still a long road but its gettin closer. Not sure of my first impressions of the power. I imagine the more the rings seat the better it'll be over the next few hundred miles

We got a little snow today and i wanted to take the jeep for a quick spin in it. Took it out and can definitely feel the power coming on more and more as everything continues to settle in. have the map set at 5.45 and it seems to be staying in a good range for the air fuel ratio. Power is really noticeable increase over stock 4.0
