Finally got a copy of JP with the second installment. besides of all the other inaccurices, they claimed to be using an 04 block, but in the picture they are showing a pre 2000 water pump on the block with the two tabs for the power steering mount. The waterpump used on the 2000 and up blocks does not have thes tabs and is held on with 5 bolts, not 4 like the eariler ones were.
One things that does seem to be clear form the article is that if you build a motor right and turbo the hell out of it, you can produce allot of HP. But we kind of already knew that. I don't think the major problems with a project like this are engine building related, more plumbing, controlling and tuning. The article really did not address any of these things very well.

I'm thinking the reason the article is so vauge is that 505 plans to build these engines and does not want to give up too much info. just give you enough to get you drooling.
