Or

0280156161 12 hole injectors. I also have ev6/ev1 adapters. Let me know if you'd like a set.
How much for the 784s ? I can’t seem to find actual flow rates on those. One site list 23# at 43.5 psi another list 21.3# , Dino’s page list 26.3# which one is right?

Take a wild guess. ;)

Lol yea really don’t want to do that. Can you tell me where you got that number from. I am now looking at the 0280155715 Injector for my build. I have the 12 hole 028156161 injectors but I think they are to small. I need a 24# injector @43.5 psi.

You have a 98 ecu. Find a scanner with live data and observe your fuel trims on a a few pulls. If your numbers are high+ then start looking for some larger injectors. The JTEC can command a pretty wide range. I just got done installing another turbo kit and put my FIC in and 36lbs injectors but I forgot I had my bypass harness in. The ecu pulled that extra fuel out very quickly as closed loop came on.

What are the specs of your stroker build? I know you have a 97 TJ with an operating fuel pressure of 49psi, so you'd need to multiply the rated injector flow at 43.5psi by 1.064 to get the injector flow for your fuel system.
As a rule of thumb for the Jeep I6 engine, dividing the expected crank HP output by 10 will get your required injector flow in the ballpark.

Basically the medium buck 12 weight, long rod stroker with tight quench & ~10.5:1. With 70mm throttle body with cai. Ported edelbrock head and ceramic coated manifold by Russ. Ceramic coated Banks torque tube header. I was hopeing for 300hp but maybe that’s not in the cards. Figure 290 hp I would need 29# hour injectors at 49 psi? Looking up the recommended injector on you page says the 784 injector flows 26.3# @ 43.5 psi. I found discrepancies in this flow number. One says it flows 23#@43.5 and other says flows 21.3# @43.5. I’m exploring injectors 0280155849 and 0280155715 both rated @ 24.7 @43.5 psi. Atleast on one page LoL.

The easy solution is to get these:

Chevy LT4 28.0lb/hr @ 43.5psi (Part no. 17124251)

That 29# figure was using the math lol. Russ said 24# injectors @43.5. It does sounds low for my package but I just want to go with what works. Just trying to decide what 24# injector would be best. Like the idea of more holes for better atomization. Most 24# injectors are 4 hole. The ford racing are 6 hole but they are rated 24# at 39psi which is 25# at 43.5 and some on say they are too big. I did find some 0280155849 12 hole injectors that look interesting. From my research they flow 24,24.5,24.7 from different sites and want to make sure they are not China injectors lol.Decisions decisions!

Haven’t had a chance to read the whole thread but injector sizing and flow rate will have a lot to do with anticipated mainline fuel pressure. At 34.5 I think a 27 pound injector would be a good starting point, but at 49.5lbs That would be too much fuel and getting something closer to a 24lb would be a better choice in my opinion.

Ive got these running in my stage 2 clegg 4.6 with their stage 1 cam and hptuners scanner showing the fuel trims and it keeps it balanced around 0 pretty well it fluctuates up and down but doesnt seem to stay negative

Yea those are the ford racing 24# 6 hole injector. As far as I know those are rated at 24# at 39.15 psi and that makes them a 25#@ 43.5 psi injector. How’s it run in open loop with those? Do you have an air ratio meter?
