Just got a email back from Five O recommending the Bosch/Ford Cobra XR3E 24 lb injectors for my application. Are these similar to what you were using SilverXJ?

I found this place on-line and asked for a quote for the Mopar 53030778 injectors I use; they were $26.50 each, and are new factory parts. That's less than 1/2 of anywhere else I could find. They have many listed, it might be worth a shot to ask for a quote for the quantity and type you want.

They sound like an excellent option. Those probably are rated 24#@43.5psi and thus will also flow 25.5#@49psi like the lt1s. Good price too. I didn't see if they were reconditioned or just take offs. I bought 8 recon'd lt1s that were ultrasonic cleaned, new filter baskets installed, and flow matched for like $66.

Those were the ones that flowed too much that I used. IIRC they flow 24.0lb/hr @ 39psi. Which would be around 26.9 lb at 49 psi.

Sound excellent in theory but silver obviously has had experience so take his word b4 mine. Mine might be so thirsty due to the ported head and high comp--why I think 27# would be okay on mine. I didn't see if you had any head work done, but maybe the 0331 head doesn't flow as much air(but it has the freer flowing intake?) and therefore need as much gas as the older 7120&0630s(why they used 22.5# in the first place) I'd definitely get some that flow at least 24@49psi.

My head is off a 98 and is ported and polished so it should flow pretty good. Silver what do you think about these? Five O called them 24# but not sure at what pressure.

My experience was with my ported and polished 0630 head and intake, Comp Cam 68-231-4, Thorley header, 2.5" exhaust, 63mm throttle body, SCR:9.76, DCR: 8.34, and quench: .078". It is probably coming down to PCM differences.
