Any issue with unplugging the injectors individually while it is running and see if the problem goes away?

I took the pre-pump filter out completely and ran it from a gas can - no joy. Then got a new pump and connected into the line at the back, same problem. Then took the new pump with just 3' of hose on the end, put the end in the can, ran it no bubbles, lots of nice clean fuel. Connected it directly to the fuel rail, same problem. Apparently it is not an issue with fuel to the rail.cruiser54 wrote:You replaced the pre-pump filter.
What about the one on the driver's side frame rail?
Do you have one?
I would disconnect the fuel feed hose at the fuel rail and the hose from the pump and blow back through with compressed air.
If you have a filter in the line, disconnect it's outlet before blowing through.
You coulda sucked some crap up into the lines, like a rust flake.
