325 crank HP is a reasonable estimate for a modified poor man's stroker with a 6psi supercharger. Detonation shouldn't be an issue with a modest 9.2:1 CR, good quality gas, colder plugs, a fuel pump upgrade, a good cooling system, and a proper tune.
Rear wheel HP will vary depending on which tranny (auto or manual) you have and whether you're running bigger, heavier wheels.

I recall reading someplace that the 4.0L wasn't actually based on the 4.2L, but mostly the 2.5L. The 2.5L was releases prior to the 4.0L.

I think ARP hardware would definitely be a necessity. Eitehr bolts or studs. After that I don't see why the engine wouldn't be able to see higher numbers with the MLS gasket.
