Where are you reading that? 99 XJ injectors are only 22.5 lb/hr. What is the part number for a ford blue injector?

Try your spare '93 injectors. In your 49psi fuel system they'll flow 23.5lb/hr and that might just be enough.

Injector # 0-280-155-784 from a Neon work well. Also used in some mini vans.
Not all engine sizes used this injector, so keep looking till you find the right ones.
A search here for 'Neon injector' or '784' will give you more info.

Got some time and put in stock injectors and it seems to be a little better . I haven't driving it yet due to lifting it . Going to yard Sunday to see about getting 784 injectors

Got my lift done and new battery last night I tried to fire up the jeep to move it outta the garage and it wouldn't fire I checked the fuel pump and found the positive wire was on broken and prob was for a long time the wire was corroded and burnt up from the connection being no good . Got it to fire and called it a night . Wondering if the pump is cutting out or not getting enough power . Won't know if it helped the problem until next weekend . I have to go across the country for work this week !

the Neon 703 injectors may have suited you better as they are the square socket. But you can definitely change the connectors without issue.

I didn't realize your '98 used the older style plugs. Looks like they changed the connector for '99-up. My apologies for giving you bad info. :banghead:
