Not sure it would. like i say, dream build. Can't say i've actually seen this done, but i know the Euro-XJ's could be spec'd w/ a 4cyl turbo diesel. The idea certainly appeals to me! Even mildly hot-rodded 6bt's are great fun in a 6k lb truck! Not sure an XJ could handle it all but a CJ w/ a full frame might put up w/ the abuse better.
