Coming from you ,I'm just going to get em ,they will be checked at the machine shop anyways! To me it makes sense to save the money and get em as cheap as possible.
Thanks for the advice silver I'm ordering these pistons TONIGHT!!!, I guess titan it is ,(for pistons)

Hey guys thanks for your patience and all of the replies, I found the mopar 229 camshaft I was going to get the 228 but from what I understand the 229 is a little beefier and with a 440/lift I should be good with stock springs correct?

While .440" of lift should work with stock springs you will want to check that. Also, they may not be strong enough to control the camshaft. Seat and open pressures are important as well as lift clearance.

I run the 229AC and I went with what the Mopar cam charts said.. which is to use OEM springs.

Even though the Cam charts said it was OK, It really is at the max if not over a bit of what these springs say they can handle. I personally didn't want to trust used springs that have over XXXXXX miles on them. I did however purchase new OEM springs and I haven't had any problems.

I will probably try my luck with my current springs because they are less than a year old with less than 5,000 miles on them so they're pretty much newish??? So hopefully ill be safe, I plan on having my machinist double check! That's great news to me that your running stock springs with no issues, I can take the $ I save on the head and blow it on a banks header

Go with an APN header.. its basically a BANKS knockoff and performs well. Will also save you $$$.

Your not the first one to mention that , I thought I've read there's clearance issues with the 99 intake manifold though
The price is definitely more in budget

Now that you mention it, there was some slight interference with my 99+ Intake Manifold. It was around the #1 Intake Runner. Light grinding on the bottom of the intake fixed it right up.

Nothing major I'm guessing? That's the only reason I've been looking at other options, I'm not scared of some grinding its just a shame It's its not a "bolt on situation" and you have to take something brand new and modify it to fit your other modifications! Honestly thanks for the advice ill probably end up getting the APN cause there's a lot better things I can do with the money I save,rent/bills!!!!
How much grinding are te talking? Was it just the first runner that had issues???
Thanks again

It was really light and not a big deal at all. There is a ton of material on the intake where I had to grind. YMMV.
