Yes. Is this important to the dynamics of the engine in reducing compression somehow?

Also have 1.6 Yella Terras, APN Headers, and Snorkel.

I just ran the numbers on the calculator and got the following. My numbers were higher by .11 somehow:

9.77 SCR
8.34 DCR
.043 Que
3.500 Stroke
Stock Camshaft.... mmmm, reliability. Aftermarket cams are overated 300%

The intake won't change any of the numbers only flow better than the log manifold.

I wouldn't go that far. My stroker lost a stock cam. #5 intake lobe wiped out. I believe it was a failed Sealed Power lifter, but I can't be sure. Did the lifter wipe out the lobe or did the lobe wipe out the lifter? What came first, the chicken or the egg? ;) FWIW, stock 4.0 cam, Sealed Power lifters, stock rockers and pushrods, MP springs, retainers and locks, 2 rounds of Brad Penn break-in, followed by nothing but Brad Penn 10/30. Maybe it was the higher pressure of the MP springs, but I don't think so as every other lobe and lifter was perfect.

I wonder if installing these MP springs at 1.7" instead of 1.6" would help? A little less pressure at seat and not bind at higher lift.

I would think if the stock cam and lifters survived as long as they did they weren't suspect. Maybe one spring was not like the rest....

Installing springs at 1.6 vs 1.7? I'm not familiar with springs. What does this mean? I assume you aren't talking about roller rockers?

I've decided I will not be installing the Avenger. Given the other modifications that I simply must do to my stroker I will be making too much horsepower to be able to use the supercharger in a daily driven manner.

I'm banking on this mini-stroker making between 260 and 270 HP with a 9.8 Compression. It's the "Wilder" ministroker that Dino advertised, only with the stock cam (no matter how many times I run the numbers I still get 9.88:1 SCR, somehow Dino got 10.1:1).

That with the aluminum head should be 290-300 (it adds 30 hp to a stock engine).

Then there are the Clifford headers from Clifford Performance that I have decided to purchase. Those add 18-22% HP to a stock engine. Even if it only added the bare minimum for a 190 hp 4.0 that would still bump me up to 344-354 hp. If it made the same hp off of my stroker it would be even more than that, and if the head was factored in it would be more still. I won't know until I finish building it and dyno it where it is.

My main goal was over 320 hp and great gas mileage. I didn't know that such numbers were possible with a stroker and simple modifications, albeit pricey. Still adds up to less than the SC pricetage and gets better gas mileage.

I would run the springs that Hesco supplied with the head and also use one of their cams. The head alone won't add 30hp, though it should flow more cfms with the bigger valves. You can add all the claimed HP increases from the individual components--good luck hitting 300 crank hp.
