What is the deck clearance on that? Its hard to tell from the pics, but it doesn't look like .038"? Single row stock timing chain too. Those injectors you can call mystery injectors as there is no real identifying info in the ebay ad.

In the process of disconnecting all my fuel injectors. Of course this happened to my 12 year old plastic. and yes i unlocked them via the sliding tab first.

so im buying 6 new ones from connectorsFAST. 3.50$ a piece for anyone who breaks theirs. thats with a 4" tail.

i needed some info on the head gasket. i already asked in a seperate thread and got my answer about using a stock bore size gasket. but none of the sites i go to (summit, rockauto, partstrain) show the thickness.

is this acceptable. http://www.summitracing.com/parts/FEL-530SD/

here's a picture from when i swapped the head like 2 months ago. 0331 cracked. Image
do you guys pull the head before pulling the motor normal on this vehicle? or just pull it all out at once after disconnecting everything. Exhaust manifold and all.

just something else to add. i need to order new lifters for it aswell. i can see a noticable differnce between these two. but since im not pulling any out of the short block. Which one is appropriate. and is the 11$ one worth more than the 4$ one.

on rock auto
SEALED POWER Part # HT2011 (2 grooves)
SEALED POWER Part # HT2011R (high revolution.) and what goes in the grooves? i thought they just dropped in place over the cam and the push rods settled in them?
