Another question is that I have read about people having high oil pressure I understand that a new motor may take awhile to break in. So question is do you recommend a hv oil pump or can you use a standard pump or which is better. Don't want to short hand myself and worry about it.

A standard pump should suffice unless you have excessive bearing clearances. If you use a HV pump, you might find yourself needing to use a low viscosity oil to keep the oil pressures down. Sustained oil pressures above 60psi could accelerate distributor drivegear wear.

Ok thanks ill just look into a standard oil pump.Trying to get everything in order then taking to the machine shop to get started. Cant wait hope ill see a big difference in power and torque with the modified poor mans Thanks again ill prob have more questions as i move forward with my project

Getting ready to take motor to machine shop. Just a simple question is there a list of things for the machine shop to do far as machine work. i am doing the modified poor mans from dino sounds good. they will maybe now its just if i had something to bring with it would help i think. thanks
