I finally heard back from the machine shop. Block, crank and the head are good. So time to save up money and buy the rest of the parts. I am still a little confused about what cam to run. Also has anyone converted there jeep to lpg? I have not done the research on it but I know as of now it is about a dollar cheaper then gas. Plus out here in Phoenix You get to drive in the HOV lane if You have an alternative fuel.

Hey guys i just bought some rods off of ebay will these work for this my motor? i think they are 6.127 length not the 6.125 stated in the recipe.

Yes they'll work fine. Keep in mind that the actual rod length varies between 6.123"-6.127" depending on production tolerances. When you receive the rods, weigh each one and have them weight-balanced to the lightest rod after you've had the balance pads ground off the small ends to accept the IC944/945 pistons.
