You aren't concerned that it will throw off the balance or the piston cc's?

The machinist must balance the rods with the pistons. I lose less than 2 cc of dish volume. The machinist says these jobs are common in diesel engine repairs.
I am very concerned with these problems.

Just a comment, I didn't see it addressed yet but may be wrong.

when I installed my setup , all my pistons were different install heights also. the block *seemed* flat to a straightedge, but the roughness from 150K miles on an Iron block with questionable coolant changes made it difficult to be accurate... took everything apart because I didn't like the varying heights.

Had the block decked square, they actually did a few cuts to take as LITTLE material as possible but get all the roughness out (perfectly flat deck surface). Once that was done, every piston was out of the hole within 0.001" of each other, all the way down the way...

Has your block been decked?

I bought my Stroker from Titan, I don't know if the block was modified or decked.

I personally guarantee you it is not the pistons that are the issue. Look to the rods from center to center.

I have already finished the work, so all the pistons have the same deck. I have balanced the pistons-rods and the maximun difference between all pistons-rods is less than 0.6 grams.
I have removed material of the rods for the balance.
The connecting rod bearing nº 1 has a problem, it lool like a small piece of hard metal embebed in the bearing.

Is the oversize bearing .020"?

Its a king bearing.

What is the dish cc on that piston?

The pistons had originally 34 cc of dish. At this moment, after decked, over 32 cc (if my maths are good).
