I think the aftermarket stud kits are a waste. I have an aluminum head and was told not to use studs because they do not allow the aluminum head to expand. We have a 14:1 Cr and are using standard torque -to -yeld head bolts. My only recomendation would be to buy a new set every time you remove and replace the head.
