A stretch gauge doesn't cost that much, but you need to know the stretch value to use it.

X2.........unless the bolts are not the same, but ARP don't make different bolts for the AMC 258 crank.Busey wrote:my ARP rod bolts came with a card that said to torque them tp 40ft lbs with the supplied lube. #112-6001 bolts
