So, no one has said what size of injector you'll need for your 4.5 . So Iam a little confused on this issue
if you have a 4.5 and you'll need a 24lb injector, just to start off so Iam looking for a injector that fire's
24lb @ 39 psi @ CL and run's through 26 lb @ WOT @ 43 psi. So @ Open Loop my computer will self ajust
accordingly to my driving needs, I dont have a OBD2 or a piggy back, so I have to be for sure on which injector
I'am buying . So when I'am looking for a injector, I need a 24lb that max's out at 26 lbs, or starts out low
and max's out high, at 43 psi as fuel presure increase's ?

Your 2K WJ has 22.5#@49psi injectors. 4.5l is 12.5% more displacement than a 4.0l. 22.5#x1.125=25.3#. You have ev6 connectors. An injector rated 24#@43.5psi will flow 25.5#@49psi(what your 00 jeep pressure is).

The Accel 24lb injectors are rated at 43.5psi so they'll do nicely. You'll just need to buy a set of EV1 to EV6 adapter plugs to make the injector harness fit.

I've been running lt1 injectors rated 24#@43.5psi(25.5#@49psi) with black tops, silver metal bases, 6-pintles, and ev1 connectors. I tried the ford 24#@39psi(~27#@49psi) and for whatever reason my 96 4.6 didn't like them as much as the lt1s(I should've data-logged them to read the FTs). I would never use stock injectors(cranking up the map voltage with the 96-99 23.2#@49psi gray-tops might work), so would chose an injector that is 27#@49psi over them(even though they might be a tad rich in OL--the pcm will adjust in CL). For most obd2s, a 24#@43.5psi will work fine; for obd1s the 24#@39psi. I know this is against Chris' experience, but I'm not quick to write off a 27# injector, since I have maxed out the PSC1 trying to get my 25.5# down to 12.5:1 afr in 5th at WOT. And I have a 4.6l, so a 4.7l might absolutely need the 27#. 4.5l=12% more air, 4.6l=15% more air, 4.7l=17.5% more air. Jeep used different sized injectors from 19# in the 87-90 renixs, 21# for the 91-95 obd1s, 23.2# for the 96-99 obd2s, then 22.5# for the 00-01s. You want injectors that are 12%-17.5% larger than stock. 4.6 obd2 23.2#x1.15=26.7#; 4.7l obd2: 23.2#x1.175=27.26#.
I'm running the bolded injectors- they were used in Taurus V6s, Mustang 4.6s, and Crown Vic 4.6s- they run perfect in my 4.7L with no additional modification, the ford part # is F4DE-B5A

Those are the injectors I'd recommend for most obd2 ev1 strokers with the 49psi rail--I need to trade out the older single pintle 24#@39psi blue tops in my m3 with those.

Has anyone tryed the ls1 injector Part#12482704 -flow 28.6#/hr at 58 psi, comes out to around 26.29#/hr on a 49 psi rail , on a 1998 based 4.6 stroker with 9.25 scr. I am on the last stages of my build and looking for some ideas on what seems to be the best fit without going to an auxillary engine controller system.

What about 27# (true 26.6# at 49psi) with a 4.9 stroker? I ref to your write up below.

4.9l is 22.5% more displacement. Dunno what year your jeep is, so 96-99's 23.2#x1.225=28.42#. 00-01's 22.5#x1.225=27.56#

Remember to verify your fuel pressure, not all 99+ systems are 49psi, my 2005 TJ is 60psi stock and changes fuel injector calculations considerably.
