reusing a head gasket?

Did you take any measurements with a dial indicator or anything?

nope i dont have one. im guessing since you asked that i would need one to see how flat it actully is?
90 block, 94 7120 head and rods, IC944 .060 21cc, comp 68-239-4 and of course the 258 crank. my first full build and i did pretty damn good

i just looked at the valves, i had seen some videos and you could see the valves not going down as far, but i guess theres different levels of going flat

You need to measure. Eyeballing it doesn't work as even a little bit can screw things up.
