KB pistons are designed to be used with a pressed fit piston pin in the rod. I guess they could be used in an eagle rod if the pistons had a groove for a lock. HMMM? Anyone know if the KB pistons have lock grooves?

The KBs do not have lock grooves.

Just a review.... I ordered pistons (KB944s in .06 over)and a timing chain set from CNC Motorsports. It took about a 1.5 weeks to get the pistons direct from KB. Not bad. However, I had to order 2 timing chains to get the right one, but the frist one was non-returnable. All in all, the sales rep was helpful, shipping was quick, and the second timing chain was purchased at cost to offset the first.

If they sent me the wrong one, wouldn't accept a return and refused to send the correct one out 100% free I would file a BBB complaint and stop payment with my credit card company...

Concur. If you ordered the wrong part, you now have a spare. However, if they sent you the wrong part, they'd darn well better take it back, unless you drilled holes in it in the interim.

The situation all around sucked. I wasn't about to start a pissing match with em cause i hadn't got my pistons in the mail yet, but 1) i now have a spare chain set and 2) they sold me the double roller at cost. So.....Any one need a standard chain set?!

Too bad this price is still not available... Has anyone found a better price than their current $426.95?

Thanks

If you have a friend at a machine shop, s/he can order direct from KB and get them at wholesale(at least that's what they told me before they were released).

$426.95 is still a good deal. It is at or below jobber and a $100 off summit. I traded mine for some rocker arms for a big B-1 motor...lol
