After looking at everything and evaluatiing things, I think Unichip has the best solution for jeeps. The downside is that youn sombody to tune it for you.

So here is my big question: what the hell do we even have as options for our Jeeps?
Here is what I know that does work :
Apexi SAFC II - fuel only - SilverXJ used it with decent results
Split Second FTC1 - fuel and
retard the timing - it's used on a "project vehicle" on Split Second's website
Split Second PSC1 - fuel only - it's been recommended by some board members
Megasquirt - fuel and timing - requires a lot of sensor changing, a lot of configurations and you start from scratch
Unichip - fuel and timing - not user-configurable
Has anybody confirmed that the Haltech Interceptor does actually work? If so how much work (such as changing sensors) is needed? Plechtan, I'm looking at you for an answer

It would also be helpful to mention ease of use and the number of points each has for adjustment.
I can only comment on the Apexi. It has only 12 RPM points for adjustment with +/- 50% at each. It will smooth the curve between each point though. From what I have seen, of the options it is the easiest to install and use. All adjustments can be done on the fly and it has two data files to switch between. It also has two graphs for low and high throttle positions, which you can define the throttle percentage of each.
