Hey Jeepers
Are any of you using any type of magnets on your oil filters or drain plugs, etc...?

Buy an oil plug one for sure--$2-3 at your local parts store. Summit sells the magnetic filter socks--I've been interested, but that's about it.

I use the rare earth oil filter magnet thingy and the drain plug one. I have never seen anything attached to the drain plug, but when I have taken apart my filter I have seen small particles where the oil filter had been. This was after numerous repairs/rebuilds on my previous engine.
