The
Compression Ratio Calculator has been completely redesigned and upgraded with several user-friendly improvements:
What's New:
Smoother Performance - Calculations happen automatically as you type
Camshafts - Added a few more and validated specs of existing ones.
Mobile Friendly - Actually usable on a mobile device!
Improved Print View - Cleaner layout and better formatting when printing your results
Keyboard Navigation - You can now tab through all preset and camshaft selections using your keyboard
Form Reset - Added a reset to defaults button
Better Error Messages - Clear, helpful feedback if you enter invalid values (no more silent failures)
What You'll Notice:
The calculator validates your inputs and tells you exactly what's wrong if there's an issue
Results update automatically after you stop typing! No need to hit the calculate button
Print output now shows all your selections and specs in a clean, professional format
Nothing Changed:
All the same calculations and accuracy you're used to
Your favorite camshaft specs are all still there
Everything works exactly as before—just better!
Let me know if you have any questions or notice any issues. All suggestions and feedback are welcome!

I found a bunch of issues with the way we are validating form fields in this new version. It was almost unusable unless you got each field correct.
This should be fixed now. I have been testing the hell out of it and it seems to be handling everything flawlessly now.
As always if you see something, let me know so we can address it. Hopefully most of the bugs are behind us now.
Thanks!
P.S. Don't forget to clear your browser cache!

Found another issue that would only affect Samsung Mobile devices (using Samsung Keyboard)
Samsung's default keyboard has issues interpreting the constraints on type="number" inputs. It sometimes "greys out" the minus sign (-) and decimal point (.) buttons based on its own interpretation of what the field allows, even when those characters are valid.
This should be fixed now. Please clear cache!
Thanks
@Sly-Jeeper for the reports!
