What bolt is this?

Post by TheGreatMarklar »

2006 Wrangler 4.0. Smells like burned oil, so I’m sure it came from inside the engine, but now it’s back together and I don’t know where it belongs. It doesn’t fit the old camshaft, and I can’t think of anything else it would fit. Any ideas?

Looks like a flex plate bolt; grade 8, and about the right size.

Good thought, but no. Stick shift, and all 6 flywheel bolts are accounted for.
