53020515 block in a ‘01 XJ

I found a smoking deal on a 98 ZJ block that I would like to use in my 2001 XJ.

It looks like there is an issue with the oil filter position possibly interfering with the motor mounts and the oil pressure sensor being in a different location.

Are there any other issues I need to be aware of?

Check if the motor mount bolt bosses on the block match your motor mount brackets. Otherwise you'll either have to buy new ones from Brown Dog Offroad or have a pair custom made.

The ZJ block should be the same as an XJ's block. Its the '99 and up WJ block that is different.
