Hey guys, so this has been a long process of building my stroker in spare time. I am getting down to ordering fuel injectors and want to get some thoughts.
258 crank new
4.0 rods
Icon 944 forged pistons +.030
Hastings rings gapped to the big side of towing and small side of forced induction but within both windows
Stock cam
Felpro gasket kit
I was looking at my injectors 01 grand Cherokee they are showing 22.5 Lbs/hr and the ones on the recipe list are showing between 22.8 and 23 lbs/he is this enough increase?
Also I was looking at adding a turbo maybe not decided one way or the other yet thought would get the stroker running first. I saw newcomer has big plenum air intakes and recommends 24 lb min and 35 is more preferred. Thought on any of this?
Maybe the turbo is over the top. Thought it would be a good way to run a stock cam and make more power I could be in left field….

For our straight six stroker engines, my rule of thumb for the injector flow in lb/hr at the operating fuel pressure is estimated crank HP divided by 10.
e.g. If your estimate is 240hp at crank, you need injectors that flow 24lb/hr. If the fuel pressure is 49psi, a set of injectors that flow 22.7lb/hr at 43.5psi would flow 24.1lb/hr at 49psi. Close enough.

Re: 4.6 stroker fuel injectors?????
Would it be a big problem to step up one size? Would the computer just tune the injector pulse width down?
I like if I’m going to replace the factory 22.5 to go with something a little more than 22.7 but I could be wrong. Obvious gas washing the cylinders would be bad

Re: 4.6 stroker fuel injectors?????
You could keep the factory injectors until you've run the stroker and monitored the A:F ratios.
